  26. For installation you need three archives from aminet:gfx/conv. Some archives
  27. (Doc and CPU) exists in more than one version. Please choose the required
  28. documentation language and the required CPU-Version. If you don't known,
  29. which CPU/FPU works in your Amiga, download all CPU files or only the
  30. files you think that's the right ones. You can also download more than
  31. one documentation archive or CPU archive, the install script lets you
  32. choose the language and the CPU.

  34. If you want to change an installed XTrace V1.10 documentation into another
  35. language, you can also download only a documenation archive and install the
  36. documentation with the install script located in the Documentation/<Language>
  37. drawer.

  52. Extract all downloaded XTrace archives into the _same_ directory and start
  53. the installer script.
  54.  
  55. It is possible, that some documentation archives will be released much
  56. later than the XTrace main program, because the translation of these
  57. files is still under progress.

  60. What is XTrace ?
  61. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  62.  
  63. XTrace is a tracer to convert bitmap pictures (like IFF ILBM files) to
  64. vector pictures (like EPS or IFF DR2D files). 
  65.  
  66. It offers many operators to process bitmap and vector pictures and also
  67. supports bezier curves, XPK, clipboards etc.
  68.  
  69.  
  70. Requirements
  71. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  72.  
  73. XTrace requires at least AmigaDOS 3.0, at least 5 Mb RAM and a
  74. fast processor to work efficient, but it should run with 2 Mb RAM and
  75. a MC68000.
  76.  
  77. It requires approximately 1300 Kb of hard disk space for full
  78. installation.
  79.  
  80.  
  81. Installation
  82. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
  83.  
  84. Installation is easy, just click on the installation icon and XTrace
  85. will be installed. The installation is safe, there's no risk of overwriting
  86. any files and you can later uninstall easily by deleting the XTrace-Drawer.
  87. This will completely remove XTrace from your system. If you abort the
  88. installation, files that were installed will be deleted.
  89.  
  90. All files except some libraries are installed to a single directory.
  91.  
  92. I suggest you install XTrace in expert user mode.
  93.  
  94. You should really use the Installer script and not try to install
  95. XTrace manually. If you don't have the standard Amiga Installer-
  96. utility, you can download it from any Aminet site, the file is:
  97. aminet:util/misc/Installer-1.25.lzh.
  98. I can't include it, because I don't know if Amiga Technologies allow that.

  104. with "DEMO". So register please .... :-)

  144. Sie benötigen für die Installation 3 Archive aus aminet:gfx/conv. Einige
  145. Archive (Doc und CPU) existieren in mehr als einer Version. Bitte wählen
  146. Sie die benötigte Sprache und CPU-Version. Wenn Sie nicht wissen, welche
  147. CPU/FPU in Ihrem Amiga arbeitet, downloaden Sie am besten alle CPU-Archive
  148. oder nur die, von denen Sie denken es sind die richtigen. Sie können auch
  149. mehrere Dokumentations-Archive oder CPU-Archive downloaden, das Install
  150. Script lässt Sie die Sprache und CPU wählen.

  152. Falls Sie eine bereits installierte XTrace V1.10 Dokumentation in eine andere
  153. Sprache ändern wollen können Sie auch nur das entsprechende Dokumentations-
  154. Archiv downloaden und die Dokumentation mit dem Install-Script welches im
  155. Verzeichnis Documentation/<Sprache> liegt installieren.

  174. XTrace-Hauptprogramm freigegeben werden, da die Übersetzung dieser Dateien
  175. noch in Arbeit ist.

  178. Was ist XTrace ?
  179. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

  181. XTrace ist ein Tracer um Bitmap-Bilder (wie IFF ILBM Dateien) in Vektor-
  182. Bilder (wie EPS oder IFF DR2D Dateien) umzuwandeln.

  184. Es stellt sehr viele Operatoren zur Verfügung um Bitmap.- sowie 
  185. Vektor-Bilder zu bearbeiten und unterstützt Clipboards, Bezier-Kurven,
  186. XPK etc.

  189. Benötigte Ausstattung
  190. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

  192. XTrace benötigt zumindest AmigaDOS 3.0, mindestens 5 Mb RAM und einen
  193. schnellen Prozessor um effizient zu arbeiten. Es sollte aber bereits
  194. mit 2 Mb RAM und einem MC68000 laufen.

  200. Installation
  201. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

  203. Die Installation ist einfach, nur das Installations-Icon anclicken und
  204. XTrace wirds installiert. Die Installation ist sicher, es besteht kein
  205. Risiko andere Files zu überschreiben and XTrace kann einfach durch das
  206. löschen des XTrace-Verzeichnisses gelöscht werden was XTrace komplett
  207. von Ihrem System entfernt. Wenn Sie die Installation abbrechen werden
  208. ebenfalls alle bereits installierten Dateien gelöscht.
  209.  
  210. Alle Dateien außer ein paar Libraries werden in einem Verzeichnis
  211. installiert.
  212.  
  213. Ich empfehle XTrace im Experten-Modus zu installieren.
  214.  
  215. Sie sollten das Installer-Script nutzen und nicht versuchen XTrace manuell
  216. zu installieren. Falls Sie nicht das Standard-Amiga-Installer-Programm
  217. haben können Sie es von jeder Aminet-Site downloaden, die Datei ist :
  218. aminet:util/misc/Installer-1.25.lzh.
  219. Ich kann den Installer nicht beilegen, da ich nicht weiss, ob Amiga
  220. Technologies dies erlaubt.
